WELCOME TO ZACAPOAXTLA

Nestled in the northeastern sierra of Puebla, surrounded by green mountains, a characteristic climate, walking clouds and a colonial atmosphere, is Zacapoaxtla, a town founded in 1540 by Jacinto de Cortés, also known as Fray Cintos, where you can admire its streets, its monuments and architectural works that envelop you due to their grandeur and importance.

This place will captivate you with its vast nature, varied gastronomy, its cultural preservation and its great history of national and international impact, making it a destination that you should not miss the opportunity to visit.

How to get to Zacapoaxtla?

There are three ways to get to Zacapoaxtla; by bus, by taxi and by private car, each one has different amounts and times between them.

From the city of Puebla you can get to the Central de Autobuses (CAPU), go to the VIA and/or AU windows to buy a direct ticket to Zacapoaxtla or if you prefer, you can take  any option from the ATHA, VIA, AU and ADO lines and get to the Zaragoza Bus Station  take a Taxi or a Sprinter in the direction of Zacapoaxtla, which are located right at the exit of the termial.
